I recently had the pleasure of staying at Conyngham Arms Hotel for a gourmet getaway, and my experience was quite noteworthy. Nestled in a beautifully restored 18th-century coaching inn, the ambiance exudes a rustic charm that sets a lovely backdrop for culinary exploration. Upon arrival, we were treated to a delightful three-course meal in their award-winning restaurant, accompanied by a glass of bubbly to toast the evening. The dining experience was punctuated by innovative dishes, showcasing local flavors that managed to impress even the most discerning palates at our table. Breakfast the following morning was adequately substantial; I particularly enjoyed the full Irish breakfast, which included smoked salmon and scrambled eggs that paired beautifully together. While I appreciated the generous breakfast options, it was unfortunate that no beans were available for a vegan guest. Nonetheless, the staff was attentive and accommodating. A lovely stay overall, ideal for food enthusiasts exploring the beauty of Ireland.
